If you like nature then we have the Local Nature Reserve. It features a marsh with a boardwalk and dipping pond. In addition the sandy Burrows is suitable for dog walking or recreation, but keep an eye open for Amphibians, Butterflies, Moths and Insects and a good display of Flowers. There is more to experience further afield. Try the Beach and Rockpools, the Heather and Gorse strewn cliffs, Scrubby Bottom and the extensive National Trust Woodlands to the West, and, the surrounding Cornfields and Pasture Land.Within walking distance, along the coast path, there are the Limestone Cliffs at Lydstep, or, the Lily Ponds at Stackpole. Four to five miles away, the Mill Pond at Pembroke Castle is a Nature Reserve in it's own right backed by Kingswood Nature Trail. These pages feature notes and photos of our interesting Flora and Fauna.
